Italian salad dressing adds flavor to these simple beef burgers.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup creamy Italian salad dressing
- 1/4 cup fine dry bread crumbs
- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 hamburger buns, split
- Lettuce
- Catsup, mustard, pickles, and/or sliced tomatoes
- Preheat the broiler. In a medium mixing bowl combine salad dressing and bread crumbs. Add ground beef and mix well. Shape into four 3/4-inch-thick patties.
- Place burgers on broiler pan. Broil 3 to 4 inches from the heat for 14 to 18 minutes or until an instant read thermometer inserted in the center registers 160 degree F.
- Toast buns by broiling, cut side up, about 1 minute. Serve patties on buns with lettuce and condiments. Makes 4 servings.
