Basil Dipping Sauce Recipe

This basil, garlic, and mayonnaise sandwich spread is extraordinary on leftover roast beef or roast turkey sandwiches.
Ingredients
- 1sp. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. Dijon-style mustard
- 1/8 t cup mayonnaise
- 1 Tbsp. snipped fresh basil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp. cayenne pepper
- In a small bowl combine all ingredients. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve with Herbed Shrimp and Tomatoes. Makes 16 (1-tablespoon) servings.
- One day ahead prepare sauce. Cover; refrigerate until serving time. This sauce is also a tasty sandwich spread for leftover roast beef.
- Use any leftover Basil Dipping Sauce as a sandwich spread.
