Pepperjack Cornbread

This simple side dish is perfect for soaking up sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 package cornbread mix
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1 cup shredded pepperjack cheese
- 2 tablespoons sliced pickled jalapeno
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Combine cornbread mix, buttermilk, egg, and cheese. Pour into a greased 9x9 baking pan. Top with sliced jalapenos.
- Bake for 15-17 minutes or until top is lightly golden brown.
