McCormick® Savory Sage Pork Roast with Apple Pork Gravy

Apple and sage make a perfect flavor combination for pork. Savor the delicious gravy over mashed potatoes.

Ingredients
  • 2 teaspoons McCormick® Rubbed Sage
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons McCormick® Garlic Salt
  • 1 teaspoon McCormick® Ground Ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon McCormick® Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 boneless center-cut pork roast (about 3 pounds)
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 2 cups apple juice
  • 2 packages McCormick® Pork Gravy Mix
Directions
  • Mix sage, garlic salt, ginger, and pepper in small bowl. Place roast in foil-lined roasting pan. Brush pork with oil. Rub seasoning mixture evenly over roast. Pour apple juice into pan.
  • Roast in preheated 350 degrees Fahrenheit oven 1-1/4 hours or until pork is desired doneness, basting occasionally with pan juices. Transfer pork to cutting board. Cover loosely with foil. Let stand 15 minutes before slicing.
  • MIX 2/3 cup of the juices from roasting pan and 1-1/3 cups water (or enough liquid to measure 2 cups) in medium saucepan. Stir in Gravy Mixes. Stirring frequently, cook on medium heat until gravy comes to boil. Reduce heat to low; simmer 1 minute or until slightly thickened. Serve with pork roast.
